Founding Partner
- Gael Hardie-Brown is the founding partner of Hardie Brown & Co., with over twenty years experience in the financial services sector.
- Her interest in Finance started with her gaining an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, followed by her Chartered Accountancy qualification with Clark Whitehill London, then a successful career in the global investment banking sector including senior roles with Merrill Lynch, Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. Primarily based in London, but with responsibility for European and Asian units and a two year posting to New York.
- In 2000, Gael came to Ireland and has been here ever since.
- She initially joined University College Cork as a lecturer in Corporate Finance, having gained a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance, teaching on both the postgraduate and undergraduate degree programs and engaging in research in the field of Finance both as author and supervisor of research students.
- In 2004. Gael accepted a senior role with the Irish subsidiary of PNC Global Investment Servicing, the sixth largest Fund Administration firm in Ireland, with over 500 employees in Dublin, Wexford and Navan. With this innovative global company Gael experienced first hand the power of the internet to deliver first class financial services to global clients regardless of location.
- In 2010, BNY Mellon acquired PNC GIS and Gael continues to work with this very successful company, but has also launched her own online chartered accountancy practice to bring the benefits of her extensive experience to Irish SME clients who also value the benefits of a web-based delivery.
